"A Spectacular Exit" A First & Last US Premier at Cannonball this September

A new work by configuring animal, "A Spectacular Exit"  is an immersive performance that intended to create a malleable space with specific tasks that would be directed by the audience and decisions made according to these tasks, by the audience, with the primary intention which is to find an answer to this question: Should we allow su into the country or not? Due to recent circumstances, the process of asking these questions to participants has lessened, and now we will gather to help su find the most spectacular exit. This installation/ immersive performance consists of a "Ask Your Local Immigrant" booth, a good ole karaoke section of our favorite american songs, a survey on bucket list items that can be achieved within 24 hours in the country, and a proper goodbye. This autobiographic performance is inspired by the set of challenges and tasks I had to go through during my immigration process in the USA, and it all boiled down to this.

The event is free, on September 6th at Asian Arts Initiative, Philadelphia.
